Friday Night Cardmaking Fun
It's almost Mother's Day! I am working on my cards to show my Mom's how much I love them and appreciate them! I got this idea from a youtube video. Split card front panel. What I used are as follows: Pre-cut card base from Michael's A2 size, green and lavender card stock from Walmart, pretty pink posh sequins, Stitched die cuts to cut mats, stamps used hero arts hydrangea layering set, ink cubes passion flower and grape juice, dew drop inks in various greens. Mother was cut on deco foil toner sheets and art glitter glue to adhere. The inside of flowers I used deco foil glue pen and applied by rubbing the foil on. Inside was stamped with Avery Elle Happy Mother's day. Not sure where I got the little purple embellish jewels.
Craft card base pre-made from Hobby Lobby. This card base measures 5.5 X 4.0.
I used Tim Holtz distressed ink in colors mustard seed, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry, salty ocean, peacock feathers, seedless preserves.
I dragged the small cubes across the paper on the diagonal. Paper is watercolor paper and cut to 5 X 4. I sprinkled water on background paper for what I call a mottled look (that's a dental term). I used a white gel pen to make faux stitching on the banner. I used crayola fine line markers on cloud and water brush pen to blend colors. I used Spellbinders die called Oh Happy Day. I used a stamp set by Stephanie Barnard. Inside die is from lawn fawn. Adhesive used Art Glitter Glue, foam squares and a tape runner.
