watercoloring with markers

Did you know you can water color with Crayola Fine Line Markers? This card I used them, just highlight where you want the color and use a water brush pen to pull the color out. I also used in the background Yasutomo pearlescent water color pallet. Ribbon from Stephanie Barnard. glossy accents on the middle of the flowers and Nuvo jewel drops in orange marmalade. Stamp set also by Stephanie Barnard.

Simple Spring Card

This is a simple cards made with A2 size card stock 5.5 X 4.25. Mat is 5.25 X 4.
I used a sticker sheet from Echo Park Paper Company. #CS120014. I just put stickers on the mat to make a scene and adhered to card base.  I used Stephanie Barnard yellow twine to make ribbon and bow. I used Nuvo Jewel Drops in rosewater for embellishments.

Friday Night Fun!

Craft card base pre-made from Hobby Lobby. This card base measures 5.5 X 4.0.

I used Tim Holtz distressed ink in colors mustard seed, spiced marmalade, picked raspberry, salty ocean, peacock feathers, seedless preserves.

I dragged the small cubes across the paper on the diagonal.  Paper is watercolor paper and cut to 5 X 4. I sprinkled water on background paper for what I call a mottled look (that's a dental term).
I used a white gel pen to make faux stitching on the banner.  I used crayola fine line markers on cloud and water brush pen to blend colors. I used Spellbinders die called Oh Happy Day. I used a stamp set by Stephanie Barnard. Inside die is from lawn fawn.  Adhesive used Art Glitter Glue, foam squares and a tape runner.

Cards made last week

Several cards I made last week, this is my therapy!

This card was made using Stephanie Barnard's die for sizzix and thanks is a lawn fawn die

This technique is called shadowing.  I used white pigment ink and took a brown colored pencil and out lined the white ink.  I used a white gel pen to highlight the flower middle.
I love this cute little stamp set from lawn fawn and hugs die is also from lawn fawn.  Printed paper is Stephanie Barnard's collection.  I used Spectrum Nior alcohol markers to color the stamp set used
